Life is Learn

God has given me tremendous obstacles in going through this life,
I should not be asking why,
I should be wondering what have I done wrong to deserve it.
I cracked my head thinking, hoping for miracles to happen
but sometimes it does not turn out like how it should be
I thought I would fall apart,
I thought my tears will never stop,
unconsciously my inner strength held me all the way,
It didn't let me sway.

God has all the reasons to put me through this,
Who am I to judge Him,
I'm just a slave,
Got to be strong and ready at all times,
I watched myself evolve from the weak-me to the strong-me
But yet at times I failed
Failed to prove to myself that I'm better, stronger
I must not try, I must do it
Life is not trying, making the same mistakes over and over again
Life is about making mistakes and learn from it!

Promise Yourself

This poem has given me the inner strength to move on in life. A gift from my never ending supportive fiancee, Helmy. I would like to share it with everyone. Hope you'll be motivated by it..if not fully, at least a bit.

Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can disturb your piece of mind. To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet. To make all your friends feel that there is something in them. To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. To think only of the best, to work only for the best and expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile. To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. To bee too large for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
